I Will Honor Life

In the name of the day break
and the eyelids of morning
and the wayfaring moon
and the night when it departs

I swear not to dishonor my soul with hatred
but offer myself humbly
as a guardian of nature
as a healer of misery
as a messenger of wonder
as an architect of peace

In the name of the sun and it's mirrors
and the day that embraces it
and the cloud veils drawn over it
and the uttermost night
and the male and female
and the plants bursting with seed
and the crowning seasons of the firefly and the apple

I will honor all life
-wherever and in whatever form
it may dwell-on Earth my home
and in the mansions of the stars

World Weekend: Two Blossoms

Your life is your practice. Your spiritual practice doe not occur someplace other than in your life right now, and you life is nowhere other than where you are.  You are looking for answers, insight, and wisdom that you already possess.  Live the life in front of you, be the life you are, and see what you find out for yourself.

The life of a mother is the life of a child: you are two blossoms on a single branch.
